Governor Udom Commissions Nto Edino Ekwere-Azu Bridges
The Governor of Akwa Ibom State, His Excellency Mr Udom Emmanuel has commissioned two 45 metres span bridges and the Nto Edino – Ekwerazu road today, 22nd of September, 2021.
The Governor who was accompanied by his wife, Her Excellency, Deaconess Martha Udom Emmanuel, the Deputy Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Mr Moses Frank Ekpo, Senator Chris Ekpenyong (former deputy governor of Akwa Ibom State) and other dignitaries stated that the bridges, as well as the road, would serve as alternative routes from the state of Abia State.
“As I inaugurated the two 45 metres span bridges and the Nto Edino – Ekwerazu road today, my joy is that we have connected communities, provided an alternative route from Akwa Ibom State to Abia State and the rest of the country and made the movement of men and materials smoother.
Our completion agenda is firmly on course and we pledge to make Akwa Ibom State more beautiful, blessed and prosperous”, he said.
