Nigerian Chef Sets Out to Break Guinness World Record for Longest Cooking Marathon

Hilda Baci, a chef hailing from Akwa Ibom State and CEO of My Food by Hilda, has taken up the challenge to break the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon. The 27-year-old entrepreneur has embarked on a four-day ‘cook-a-thon’ at Amore Gardens in Lekki, Lagos State, with the aim of cooking multiple dishes for an extended period of time in order to earn recognition from Guinness World Records.

The current record for the world’s longest cooking marathon is held by Lata Tondon, who accomplished the feat in 87 hours, 45 minutes, and 00 seconds in Rewa, India, in 2019. Hilda Baci hopes to surpass this record and put her name in the Guinness World Records by dedicating her time and skills to this challenge.
